Devastating Fire in Edmonds, WA

This home was devastated by fire. The fire had started in the fireplace but had gotten out of control during the carpet and mantle. From there it turned into a conflagration that ruined the floors, ceilings, and walls. In many cases SERVPRO of Lynwood would be able to save walls and floor coverings, but when they are burned this badly there is no other alternative than to pull it all out.

We cleaned this home by removing all the damaged building materials. Cleaning of the floors and joists were next as we didn't want them to continue smelling of smoke.
